More than twenty (20) years ago, God placed a burning desire within my heart to plant a congregation of the Lord's church. In the 80's, I attempted to plant a congregation in Warsaw, North Carolina. But, God said this is neither the time nor the place. In the 90's, I attempted to plant a congregation in Gastonia, North Carolina. Again, God said this is neither the time nor the place. In 2003, that evangelistic fever returned more passionately than ever, therefore, I planned once again to launch out in 2005 and see what God would say this time.
December 4th, 2005, four (4) members of the John Marshall family (John, Priscilla, Marrkus, Jondreia) along with ten (10) other individuals met at 8:30a.m. at the Magnolia Manor Hotel, Tucker, GA, for a time of Praise and Worship.
December 11th 2005, not one of the ten (10) individuals, who had met at 8:30 A. M. the previous Sunday returned for the 8:30 A. M. Praise and Worship. But two (2) other individuals came for the first time for the 8:30 A. M. Praise and Worship. The Marshall family along with those two individuals engaged in a wonderful time of Praise and Worship.
December 18th 2005, two (2) of the individuals who had attended on 4 December returned at 8:30 A. M. They along with the Marshall family engaged in a time of Praise and Worship.
Now, here we successfully stand, five years later, having ministered to thousands with hundreds having entered our doors. But, I do now understand why God had earlier said not now and not here.
Come join with us. Let's just see where God will take us. Throughout the future, as many as God directs, will come and become a part of this blossoming fellowship of believers. Come and join with us. Let's just see where God will lead us.
